Privet trip
Hi guys! 👋
I’ll be taking you on an amazing trip from Tbilisi to Kazbegi.
In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and start driving towards Gudauri along the famous Georgian Military Highway, heading north toward Russia.
Our first stop will be at the beautiful Zhinvali Water Reservoir, where you can enjoy the peaceful views and take some photos. Then we’ll continue to the Ananuri Fortress, a historic complex with churches and towers from the 16th–17th centuries, overlooking the reservoir.
Next, we’ll stop at the Aragvi “white and black” rivers — a very interesting place where two mountain rivers meet. What’s special is that they are different colors, and even after merging, they still don’t mix completely.
After that, we’ll drive up to Gudauri and cross the Cross Pass. We’ll also stop at the Gudauri Friendship Monument, built during Soviet times. From there, you’ll see an incredible panoramic view over a deep gorge in the Caucasus Mountains.
In Gudauri, you’ll have some free time to enjoy activities — you can go skiing, try snow activities, or even go paragliding, which is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Then we’ll continue our journey to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda). To reach the famous Gergeti Trinity Church, located 2200 meters above sea level, we’ll switch to a 4WD vehicle if needed (especially in snowy conditions). From the top, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kazbegi.
After visiting the church, we’ll head to Gveleti Waterfall, where we’ll take a short hike of about 40 minutes. It’s a beautiful and refreshing spot in nature.
On the way back, we’ll also pass by the Dariali Monastery and the area near the Russian border, surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes.
At the end of the tour, we’ll stop at the famous Rooms Hotel restaurant, where you can relax and enjoy a nice meal with an amazing mountain view.
In the evening, we’ll head back to Tbilisi, full of great memories from this unforgettable day.
